Styled Shoots (also known as Content Days, Portfolio Days, Content Retreats, etc.) are events planned and coordinated by another photographer/host (in this case, me – Styled in the PNW) to give photographers and videographers the opportunity to build their portfolio, network with other creatives, and have fun all while getting creative! I will come up with a general theme or location, create multiple concepts involving these themes, meticulously search for and coordinate with models and vendors, and provide outfits, props, etc. All you as a photographer/videographer have to do is show up and capture it! I provide general guidance for posing, tools to use, and skills to practice during events, but always give ample opportunity for participants to direct for themselves.
